A baby rhesus monkey in China has recently made frenemies with a miniature of one of the fiercest cats in the forest.
The baby monkey, named Taoqi, played fearlessly with a tiger cub at the Hefei Wild Zoo in eastern China’s Anhui province.
The tiger was born only a while back, but the cub’s teeth already look like white, shining, little daggers.
Little Taoqi shows his playfulness, but seems pretty focused on that gaping mouth!
That didn’t dismay the baby ape, who played with the cat’s face and even stuck an arm in the soon-to-be ferocious animal’s mouth.

Rhesus monkeys, also known as rhesus macaques, have the largest nonhuman geographic range of any primate, and are native to Central, South, and Southeast Asia. They have a history of living close to human - but not necessarily baby tiger - settlements.
